Meet our Student Psychotherapist

Brittany Loignon, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) - In-person or Virtual Sessions

I live my life through a lens of curiosity, driven by a passion for understanding the human experience and fostering meaningful connections. This curiosity shapes how I approach therapy, creating a space to explore your unique path to healing and growth through empathy, authenticity, mindfulness, and holistic care.

My diverse background in sociology, psychology, fitness, Reiki, sales, and corporate management allows me to bring a multifaceted perspective to our work together. For over two decades, I have studied areas society often considers taboo or deviant, uncovering how societal constructs and expectations can contribute to personal struggles. This understanding helps us challenge limiting narratives and will support your journey toward embracing your authentic self.

Life transitions such as marriage, separation, parenthood, relocation, and career shifts have shaped my compassion and understanding; these experiences, combined with my professional expertise, allow me to connect meaningfully and authentically with you. In our sessions, I will create a safe space to help you explore what feels most relevant and important to you, whether it’s hopes, fears, disappointments, or shame. Grounded in client-centred therapy, our time together will focus on uncovering patterns, building resilience, and aligning your life with your values.

At the heart of my work is the belief that people are inherently good, capable of change, and worthy of connection. As your therapist, my role is to act as a mirror, helping you see yourself more clearly and reconnect with your inner strength. Together, we will uncover the insights and resources within you to move toward the life you desire.

If this approach resonates with you, I invite you to connect with me for a complimentary 15-minute consultation. It would be a privilege to support you as you reconnect with yourself and navigate your unique journey toward healing and growth.

*Brittany is a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University.
