Working with a student psychotherapist is mutually beneficial and safe. Clients benefit from affordable rates and the psychotherapist student benefits from real-world experience and supervision. Students must be supervised by a qualified psychotherapist while working towards registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety and depression, coping with loss, looking to improve your relationships, or learning to adjust to changes and transitions in your life, psychotherapy will be beneficial.
My approach is client- centred and psychodynamic. Together we will set goals, explore your past, identify habits and patterns, and empower you to create the life you want.
Drawing on theories and approaches from narrative therapy, solution focused therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectic behaviour therapy, emotionally focused therapy, art therapy and play therapy we will identify an approach that best suites your individual needs and enables you to safely and effectively heal and grow.
I look forward to starting this journey with you.
