Frequently Asked Questions

Do your services qualify for insurance?

Many extended benefits plans offer coverage for the services of a Registered Psychotherapist. If this is case for you, you can submit your receipts along with a claim form to your insurer for reimbursement.

Canada Revenue also recognizes the cost of non-reimbursed services by Registered Psychotherapists as a medical expense, eligible for tax credit on your annual tax return.

What is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)?

When a therapist first becomes registered to practice in Ontario, they enter a Qualifying category, which means they continue to receive regular clinical supervision as they accumulate experience.
