On-Site Therapy for a Day

Confidential, single-session support for your people, right at work.

When someone at work is struggling, the hardest part is often getting started. Waitlists, finding the right therapist, and taking time away can hinder progress. On-Site Therapy for a Day eliminates those obstacles by providing executive advisory services that focus on leadership and workplace mental health. Victoria visits your workplace for one day, allowing employees to book private sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist without leaving the building.

How it works

You choose a date. Victoria collaborates with your HR or People team to select a day and set up a private room. Employees can book their sessions privately. Staff book directly with Victoria, ensuring confidentiality as names are never shared with managers or HR. Victoria spends the day on-site, offering six 45-minute sessions, each a complete, focused conversation. At the end of each session, people leave with a concrete next step. Participants walk away with clearer thinking, practical ideas, and referrals for ongoing support, enhancing overall organizational performance.

What a session is

Each session provides single-session, solution-focused therapy. Instead of diving into months of therapy, it asks a key question: what would help most right now? In one conversation, people clarify what's happening, what actions they can take, and where to seek further assistance.

What people bring

Victoria addresses the intersection of mental health and work, with common topics including:

  • Stress and feeling overwhelmed
  • Burnout and exhaustion
  • Relationship issues, at home or at work
  • Conflict with a colleague or manager
  • Career questions, changes, and uncertainties
  • Difficult life seasons impacting work

Confidentiality

Every session is private. Victoria is regulated by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and adheres to strict privacy standards. Your organization never receives names or details from the sessions. Session records are kept securely by Victoria, never by the employer. Legal confidentiality limits apply, particularly regarding serious risks of harm, which Victoria explains at the beginning of each session. After the day, you receive a brief, anonymous summary: the number of attendees and general themes that emerged, with no identifying details included.

Example summary: Six employees attended sessions on [date]. Common themes included workload and stress, uncertainty about upcoming changes, and balancing work with family responsibilities. Several participants were provided with connections to ongoing support options, including your EAP.

Why it works

There’s no waitlist; support is available the same day, right on site. It encourages individuals to reach out more easily, as people are more inclined to talk when help is readily accessible. This approach works alongside your EAP, offering an in-person option and assisting individuals in connecting with appropriate ongoing support. It’s simple for you: one day, one room, and no lengthy program to manage.

Good times to book

  • During or after a restructure or major change
  • Throughout high-pressure seasons, such as year-end or a significant launch
  • In conjunction with Mental Health Week or other well-being events
  • As a regular check-in, like once a quarter

What it isn't

On-Site Therapy for a Day does not serve as a crisis service, a diagnostic assessment, or a fitness-for-work evaluation. Employers do not receive reports from sessions.
